Car Allowance
Essential Car user allowance of £1,100 available for some roles.

Standby and call-out payment options are available which are updated when any pay award is applied, with additional rates paid during Christmas period:

Standby payment of £227.15 per week [£32.45 per day]
Option 2
Payment of;
£511.10 up to 10 callouts
£567.90 for 11-15 call outs
£681.48 for 16-20 call outs
£795.05 for 21-25 call outs
Life cover for permanent colleagues under the age of 75 (4 x annual salary payable upon event of death in service). Payable for pension members via scheme and for non-pension members via Plus Dane Life Assurance policy
Minimum contribution rates are 3% employee and 6% employer. Pension salary sacrifice scheme; employee gives a % of gross pay, employer then pays amount equal to the pension scheme, in addition to its own contribution already being made.
Interest free loan taken out of salary for 12 months for colleague to purchase annual travel season ticket.
Marking 10,15, 20, 25, 30 and 40 years service with a voucher ranging from £50 for 10 years to £200 for 40 years.
Usually within four weeks and always within three months of being incurred, unless there are extenuating circumstances that do not allow for this.
Flexible working hours, agile working, compressed hours, flexible working requests (part time working, amended start/finish times).

2 months full pay, 4 months half pay plus SMP/SAP, 3 months SMP/SAP, additional unpaid leave up to a maximum of 52 weeks leave in total.

Allows eligible parents to choose how to share time off work after their child is born or placed for adoption.
A maximum of 10 days paid leave with management discretion. A minimum 10 days paid bereavement leave to be granted to bereaved parents of a child under 18.
Entitled to up to one days’ paid leave to deal with a domestic or personal issue that cannot wait. Management discretion to increase this to up to three days paid leave where appropriate.
Time off to study and to take examinations, half a day per examination plus a half-day of study time.
An employee with at least one year's continuous service with Plus Dane and named on a child's birth or adoption certificate or have parental responsibility for the child is entitled to take up to 18 weeks' unpaid leave in respect to that child up to their 18th birthday.
A phased reduction in working hours leading up to retirement upon request.
Unpaid leave is available and will be deducted from the month in which the time was taken off.
Additional annual leave is available by agreement. This must be purchased at the start of the annual leave year. Cost can be spread over a maximum 12 months.
Colleagues with over 5 years’ service can request unpaid sabbatical leave. The maximum period is 6 months and can be spilt into 2 separate periods of 3 months.
